History:
The Anthony- Baker Cemetery sits on an acre of land currently owned by a Baker. The land
was previously owned by the Anthonys many years ago, but was sold to a Baker. Part of the deed set aside an acre of land that
anyone descended of them could be buried there.
Directions:
Take HWY 411 East in Centre, Alabama, take a right at Hwy 9 South. Go 1.9 miles south to
Cherokee Co. Road 128 and take a right. Go 4/10 of a mile, take a left onto a dirt path onto an old cotton, sometimes soybean,
field on Baker Farm.
